Question: I always eat junk food, anyways outside food like McDonald’s or like Wendy’s or Pizza, things like that and I really want to change my eating habits and start eating healthy with fruits and veggies but I also wanna lose some weight can you give me some good tips on how to keep away from outside food and any good things that are good home food please answer I would really appreciate it. A tough diet tips question this week. Let’s dive straight in
Question: im 14 and weigh 100 pounds. i don’t think im fat! i am very athletic and a full time gymnast. i just have been eating a lot of junk food and would like to make a change. like i said i am not at all worried about my body i just want to eat healthier so im not getting sick all the time and my skin clears up.
Answer: I try to eat healthy too and what I do is give my mom a grocery list…just trade off some foods now for better foods. But, remember, if you completely give up junk food you are going to have to eat MORE food, because healthy has less calories, so you might lose weight you should not lose…
-trade a sugary cereal for oatmeal
-trade chips or other salty snacks for fruit and veggies (there are tons- apples, bananas, oranges, plums, strawberries, kiwi, broccoli, carrots, celery, zucchini…)
-trade out sugary drinks for plain water (if you still cannot go without a taste, try crystal light or something similar)
-eat protein!!! its good with veggies and fruits- peanut butter with apples, hummus and carrots…I love almonds on some granola and yogurt…
-basically make sure you get the right amount of servings from each food group every day (mypyramid.gov can help you with that).
-cut out a lot of enriched carbs (which would be any deserts, white breads, enriched snack crackers) . They trigger the body to eat more by raising blood sugar then dropping it rapidly- stick to complex stuff that takes longer to digest and has more fiber, like whole wheat breads, cereals, brown rice….

Question: i currently weight 130 but i want to drop down to the 125 weight class. after a hard wrestling practice i weight about 128 or even 129 each day. i want too weight 125 after. no matter how hard i try i cant make it! after practice i even started jogging like 2 or 3 miles a day and i weight myself the next day after every practice and im still at the same thing! im preety sure its the way i eat right now. im not the healthiest eater, i stuff myself and i usually eat superr bad junk food haha.
the only time i made it to 125 was when i starved myself one day.
but anyways can you guys give me like diet tips:
What to eat for breakfast?
Snack?
Lunch?
Dinner?
What to avoid?

Answer: Be on a good weight training program along with a very good, well-balanced diet and do a lot od cardio and keep increasing the cardio to increase your stamina and to also increase your fat loss and you will be just fine. Avoid fatty foods, watch your Portion Sizes and cut sweets right out. Eat only good foods.

Question: hey..i need to lose a few pounds fast, can you give me any advice or diets? i`m already having a healthy life style, eat good things and never never junk food and i also do some sports … but please don`t tell me more sports because i`m kind o lazy:D
Answer: Walking is proven to be the best exercise. Walking relieves stress and helps you lose weight. Walking works out your whole body. Walk for half an hour a day.
Drink a lot of water, sometimes our brains confuse thirst with hunger (proven scientifically) and you might eat when you are actually thirsty. If you do drink a bottle of water and you will still feel hungry after 5 minutes then you are truly hungry. Drink water while you eat, it has been proven that you consume less calories when you drink water with your meals. Also drink colder water if you can because after you drink cold water your body uses a lot of energy to warm up the water and you lose calories.
Eat oatmeal. Oatmeal is healthy and makes you feel full for a long time.
Don’t eat junk food, as I can see you already made that change.

Question: 13, male, 5′3, 142 lbs.
so, i don’t eat breakfast usually at "the time".
usually at 9 or 10.
but its whatever i can find… so that doesn’t help.
i don’t eat lunch… i eat at 3 or 4. again, whatever i can eat.
dinner, i don’t eat at "the time". usually at 9…
my diet at least has rice in it everyday..
and leftovers from restaurants…
i drink 4 green tea bags a day. usually one in the morning, 2 midday, and 1 at night.
i don’t drink water as i used to;; maybe 2-3 glasses a day?
few soda.
fruits- every now and then.
vegetables- ew. no. no way.
advice please? ">>
i bet your going to say its a bad food diet, but instead please tell me a way to eat more and gert my energy for the day and to lose weight?

Answer: It doesn’t matter what time you eat it just matters that you eat at least within the hour that you wake up to start and then in good portions of time throughout the day.
You should be eating
Lean meats, eggs, low fat dairy, seeds/nuts, fruit, vegetables, whole grains, oats, beans, etc.
If it’s a natural food that comes from the Earth chances are it’s healthy. (things like 100 calorie packs and 10 calorie jello may be low in cals. but is NOT healthy at all!!)
Natural/whole foods are the only true healthy things, this isn’t saying you can’t reward yourself with some ice cream or whatever every now and then but it certainly shouldn’t be a part of your every day diet. Good luck!
