A diet tips question that should definitely interest you all this week
please&thank youuu!
Make sure half your meals are green non starchy vegs & eat lots of protein & good fats, limit your complex carb portions to no more than your protein portion.
I am adamantly opposed to low calorie dieting because most people lose a good portion of lean tissue (including vital organs like the heart) along with fat stores. There is no nutrition in fat stores, only energy. Most people get impatient and lower their calories and increase their exercise to a point where they lose so much lean tissue that when they return to what was maintenance level eating they are now accumulating more fat stores because their caloric needs have dropped due to the loss of this tissue as well as their metabolism slowing down to work more efficiently on fewer calories & it becomes a vicious cycle of dieting and more loss (including vital organs like the heart). This stress to the vital organs cannot be healthy.
Unless you’re overweight (check your bmi), you really don’t need to ‘diet’.
Just make sure you watch what you eat (ex. don’t eat when you’re bored), and make sure that you get the proper amount of vegetables, fruits, etc… per day.
Drink lots of water and exercise!

Here are some tips to help you lose more weight:
- Eat a diet of around 1200-1500 calories daily
- Eat healthy food like fruit and veg, fresh fish, lean meat, egg whites, low fat dairy products, complex carbs, bran etc.
- Cut out junk foods, soda, processed food, take outs and don’t eat fattening snacks but opt for healthy choices instead such a oat cakes, fruit or veg sticks
- Drink 8 glasses of water per day to ensure that you stay fully hydrated
- Eat small but regular meals and snacks, consuming at least 6 small meals or snacks.
- Do at least 30-40 minutes of intensive cardio per day (running, swimming, gym, sports, dancing, aerobics) You should make sure that your heart rate is at least 60-80% of its maximum to ensure that you are in the fat burning zone.
- Do strength training (push ups/crunches/squats) in order to tone and build lean muscle which will increase you basal metabolic rate
- Set target goals and record your weight loss in a journal
- Change your lifestyle in general. Walk or cycle instead of driving and see healthy foods as a treat not a burden
Also it’s not true what you heard about rice.you can eat ANYTHING,even sweets, but everything in moderation, right quantity.
