Any Tips on Raw-vegan Diet?

Keep the diet tips questions coming! I liked this one:

Question: I don’t like cooking or doing dishes much. For the last six months, I am on a mostly-fruit diet. I eat fruits for breakfast, and snacks. I have a big smoothie of fruits for lunch. But at night time I crave cooked food, and have regular food. Can anyone give me tips on some simple raw vegan recipes for night time, that doesn’t require elaborate recipes.

Any good salad or wraps thats easy to make and filling (and tasty)? Also I am considering buying a juice extractor, they seem pretty expensive, but am spending well over $100 at jamba juice every month, so may be a worthy investment? any thoughts on that?

Thanks for all answers in advance!
Thanks for all the great answers and information guys…keep them coming!

Answer: •buy frozen fruit, I do that, buy mixed bags if berries and toss that into a blender. Buy what ever else to eat at a whim.
•eat your greens! After a while of hardly eating any greens, I felt AWFUL, and was showing slight (and aggravating) signs if anemia. Leafy greens have iron in them, so have a big bowl at dinner. And 4-10 nuts a day for fat, or maybe an avocado.
•don’t go to Jamba juice too offten! They are expensive for sure (though even I admit I adore them). Google the ingredients to your favourite smoothie from the "all fruit" list they have (the majority have yogurt in them, but there is an all fruit list) and buy the ingredients yourself and make it for cheaper prices.

Don’t worry, just eat enough carb rich fruit (apples, mangos, bananas, ect) during the day and enough greens to make it easier. When going raw, you WILL have some cooked food cravings, we all do. They go away. After 2weeks (or 3) they subside lovingly.
Also, celery is great to help wash out toxins, so be sure to buy some!

Im Trying to Diets and Dieting for Days What Are Some Tips I Can Do to Burn the Most Calories?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: also if i go running and wear a backpack filled with weights wll i be able to lose more and burn faster?
Answer: I stuck relegiously to it for 3 months and lose 7 pound. I have quite a lot to lose so i thought i would lose more. The main problem was i ended up with too much uric acid in the blood and now my joints are painful but im going to try fast tract hypnosis. Keeping my fingers crossed. My friend also tried it and only lost 3 pound in a month.
edit this is something i read
I should know. I’m an idiot.

I bought the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program a few years ago (Actually, I think it was called "Weight Loss 4 Idiots" then). I was tempted by their claim that I could "lose 9 pounds in 11 days" by "eating foods that I choose". I was excited to fork over my money and begin my journey to weight loss success.

What happened? Well, when I tried to select my foods, I was presented with a list of food choices, many of which I didn’t like. Despite what they’ll tell you in the advertisements, this is a high protein low carb diet. And I’m a vegetarian. There were many "fake meat" products to choose from, but I don’t like those either.

Still, I thought that I might be able to substitute foods that I did like and somehow apply the principle of the diet. I didn’t like what I saw. Other review sites will tell you that you get to eat "4 square meals a day" on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program. But this isn’t entirely true. You do get to eat four meals a day. However, the "meals" consist of one food only. How much of any one food can a person eat? Not much.

What about all the additional information that comes with the program? There was not a single piece of information on that site which I hadn’t already heard from a free source.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots only works because it is a very low calorie, low carb diet. However, it’s just that. A diet. It doesn’t teach you how to properly eat so that you don’t gain weight when you go off the diet. It’s likely that this is just a temporary solution.
The weight will come back.

The reality is that losing weight permanently isn’t easy and it doesn’t happen overnight. I know that’s not a popular sentiment, but it’s the truth. You are much better off making healthy changes over time that become a permanent part of your life.

Shannon Tani is a former fattie, who weighed over 220lbs. She has currently lost over 70lbs. One day she realized that people would rather hear dieting advice from someone who’s "been there, done that" than a boring old doctor who’s never been fat a day in his life. So she started the website Better Off Fat to share her experiences and ideas.

I Need Workout and Diet/lifestyle Tips.?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: I’ve been working out pretty much everyday since November of 2010. However, I can’t seem to rid of my bad eating habits and control the portions I eat. I need tips on how to control what I eat so i don’t overeat or eat anything bad….I was also wondering if, when on a workout regimin, does it matter if you skip a day or two and don’t workout? Does that have a negative effect on the work you’ve already been doing? Thanks!
Answer: I personally had to believe that my body deserved better than that (which it does). When you go to eat something bad, think about the harm you are causing your body. Not that I don’t slip sometimes, but I feel incredibly guilty, and feel sick. It’s not worth it.

The human body wasn’t made to support the amount of food people eat today. It’s just not needed. A person could realistically live off of about 1/2 cup of food per meal.

And increase your protein. Take a protein shake every day (I use Syntrax Matrix). It really controls hunger. And don’t forget drinking tons of water.

And about the workout, it’s good to give your body a break sometimes. It allows it to adjust to the changes that have occured and you can begin to push your body to do more things.

What Tip of Diet Should I Be on when I Play High School Hockey?

This week’s question is as follows:

Question: plz help
Answer: You should try to keep yourself hydrated constantly. The fats you eat should be from things like peanut butter or nuts, not anything with saturated fats. Eating a higher that normal carb diet is actually ok because in games your carbohydrate levels get out of whack and you have to replenish those in order to have maximum energy. Stay away from candy, and other crappy foods, and never drink energy drinks.
